Game 6 kicks off tonight, and it’s been an interesting series to say the least. We’ve had topless women indefinitely banned from ballparks, and a ton of road wins to set the stage for a huge win or go home game for the Nats.
With a 3-2 lead in the best of seven and Justin Verlander facing Stephen Strasburg in Game 6, the Astros are shockingly heavy -700 favored to win the World Series. Those odds give the Astros an 87.5% chance to win the World Series, which is overly optimistic. The Nats haven’t lost a Strasburg start all postseason and have Max Scherzer back for a potential Game 7. More realistically, Houston should be closer to a -510 favorite, which equates to about 83%
Who do you see taking game 6? While the Stros are the heavy favorites, it’s tough not liking the away team in this one.
