We’ve had some solid matchups in the NFL thus far, along with some interesting storylines for 2 historic franchises. First we have the Baltimore Ravens, who looked like the best team in football after 3 weeks of NFL action. On the other side of the Sunday Night Football coin we have Cam Newton and the New England Patriots (still weird to not include Tom Brady in that sentence), who at 3-5 haven’t quite found their footing.
Vegas is heavy on the Ravens in this one, and rightfully so. But which Ravens team will show up? More importantly, which Lamar Jackson and which play calling scheme? Jackson has been somewhat critical of the play calling heading into this one, but regardless, oddsmakers are team Baltimore. Looking for the best odds out there for this matchup? The Ravens are -7 favorites against the spread.
We are rolling with the favorites in this one. It’s never good when your QB says he’s not in the same stratosphere as his opponent. And even though Calais Campbell is not going to be starting in this one, we just don’t see the Patriots being able to stick with a potent Baltimore rushing/quick passing attack.
