At this point, it’s starting to be a legacy award for Mike Trout. With seven top-4 finishes and two MVP awards already for the 27 year old slugger, Trout is once again the leading favorite to take home Most Valuable honors in 2019.

In true Mike Trout fashion, he is slashing .294/.463/.598 with 15 homers and 39 RBI. His .463 on-base percentage so far this season is a career-high and Trout has already been intentionally walked 10 times this season, putting him not far off from his career-high of 25 last season.

Trout has been and is the ultimate model of consistency. Only in his age-27 season, Trout would just now be entering what is considered an athlete’s prime years. But, with impressive numbers and numerous accolades already to his credit, Trout is only getting started.

Honorable Mention: OF Austin Meadows – TB
