Game five has been all St. Louis and it’s safe to say the fans and Sharks skaters don’t know how to react. Already up 2-0, the Blues have continued to press the attack and keep their foot on the gas, knowing how no minor lead is safe against San Jose.
Vladimir Tarasenko got a quality look when he got behind the Sharks defense, resulting in Brent Burns tripping him up on his way to the net. Tarasenko, one of the Blues snipers and most physical presences on the ice, proceeded to do what he does, score goals.
Tarasenko went upper shelf and blasted it by Jones, giving the Blues a 3-0 advantage midway through the second period.
