The cleanup crew at Staples Center can still hear the rim vibrating.
But that’s not what makes this the saddest brick of all time. It’s that these types of bricks have become the norm for one of the greatest players to play the game. And until he retires, each subsequent buzzer beating brick will unfortunately become the saddest brick of all time.
Those 4th quarter legs aren’t what they used to be 5 years ago. But we have a feeling that his old man legs won’t stop him from taking the last shot anytime soon.
