Omar Vizquel, former Cleveland Indian, and beloved Cleveland personality is in Cleveland this week for All-Star week. His involvement was mainly in yesterday’s Celebrity Softball Game where Cleveland lost 21-16 against other Celebrities selected to represent “everyone else” not from Cleveland. The most impressive part about Omar’s appearance is this video taken displaying that his glove-work remains dominant.

I mean, what kind of sorcery is this? This is why Omar Vizquel is one of my favorite athletes of all time and probably the coolest person in any room you will ever be in. His glove-work is seriously the best to ever play the game of baseball. I remember going to games and seeing this guy basically Harry Houdini ball 90-feet+ to first base. No base runner stood a chance against this mad man.

Omar was the smoothest and most athletic player on the field at all times and we were so blessed to say he was an Indian at one point in time. Good to see Omar still has the hands of a god and makes all others look like they’re playing checkers while he’s playing chess. Hats off to Omar! Here’s a highlight video of some of his best defensive plays

Cheers, Jiggy
