Remember when you tried to skip a stone, the excitement that overcame your body when it glazed over the water a whopping five times? You’d try to beat your last number, eventually giving up when your arm fell off.
Well, meet 27-year-old Keisuke Hashimoto. He has been skipping stones since he was a child. In this YouTube interview, he talks about how he had a lot of free time down by the river and would skip up to 70 stones a day.
Hashimoto can skip a stone over 100 meters and has taken first place in tournaments in the US, UK, and Japan. There are no cash prizes but lucky for Hashimoto, it’s about the honor, not the money.
