As the start to the NBA season grows closer, the Warriors official Twitter account have been running a countdown. With each day, they offer a new Tweet using #GSWCountdown.
They’ve done it everyday, except the other day, when it would’ve marked 31 days until the start of the season.
Training Camp » 4️⃣ days
Preseason » 8️⃣ days
Opening Night » 3️⃣2️⃣ days

Conspicuously, the Tweet for “31 days is missing from the #GSWCountdown.
Considering how trolls have been active since the Cleveland Cavaliers won game 7 of the Finals, climbing all the way back from a 3 – 1 deficit, it’s likely the Warriors wanted to avoid additional fodder.
As the first team to blow a 3 – 1 lead in the Finals, even with the unanimous regular season MVP, the Warriors have taken repeated blows, reminding them of the epic collapse.
