Paul George is once again criticizing a teammate after another loss in the first round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. George took at aim at returning Indiana Pacers forward Lance Stephenson.
The comments of George declared Stephenson needs to control his emotions to help the team rather than getting lost in them.
Pacers' Paul George after Game 2 loss to Cavs: "[Lance Stephenson] has to learn to control himself… His body language has to improve." pic.twitter.com/vf301J85ZI

“He’s got to learn to control himself. He’s got to learn to just be in the moment. Lance, in our locker room, is looked upon as a leader, so his body language has to improve. Just for the team. We all know Lance is an emotional guy, and a lot of it is just his heart, and his competitiveness, and that emotion comes out on him. But he’s just gotta channel that and put it towards making effort plays on the court and doing whatever he needs for us to succeed.”
Unlike unfairly going after CJ Miles for making a good basketball play on Saturday, George has reason to call out Stephenson here. The Pacers would be a far bigger threat if Stephenson learned to keep his composure.
