LA Clippers coach Doc Rivers has always been a fiery guy, but Tuesday night he quickly lost his cool and got ejected. During overtime, when speaking to an official about a call another official from cross court gave him his first tech for crossing midcourt. Once the technical was handed out Rivers went crazy and earned himself another technical and an ejection.
DeAndre Jordan and assistant coach Sam Cassell took turns in trying to restrain the head coach.

The Clippers went on to lose the game in double overtime to the Nets 127-22. After cooling down Rivers spoke on why he was so upset with the first technical.
“The official, who had nothing to do with the play, thought I was yelling at Lauren (Holtkamp) and I wasn’t. We weren’t. She said I was right and let’s walk back. We weren’t even arguing. It was the damndest tech to give at that time.”
NBA referee Ken Mauer explained why the technicals were given out.
