The Cleveland Browns Foundation celebrated their 20th annual golf tournament Monday at the Westwood County Club in Rocky River, Ohio.
Per Nick Shook, staff writer for the Browns, he says that out of the numerous events the foundation hosts, this golf outing is very successful and has been around the longest. Kids who miss multiple school days have a higher percentage of not graduating, so it’s important to the Haslams to make sure students have clean clothes, new uniforms, and supplies.
And when the players aren’t giving back by donating food, breaking ground on new fields, and attending different kinds of fundraisers, they are working with Jimmy Hanlin on their golf swing.
It’s always a fun time and, of course (no pun intended), a great cause for the kids and the community. Follow along with the Browns Give Back Twitter and see how they are always going above and beyond.
