All-Star Week Kicks off Today in Cleveland, Here’s What to Expect Inside Play Ball Park

The All-Star Game has returned to Cleveland for one epic weekend!

Back in March, we reported on some fun activities that this year’s All-Star Game held for Cleveland, that day is finally here.

For the next five days, Cleveland is going to be the center of attention. Throughout the city, there will be many events, concerts, giveaways, celebrities, games and much more.

One of the main attractions is the Play Ball Park located at the Huntington Convention Center, this is the largest indoor/outdoor interactive theme park in the world. Play Ball Park will have a free outdoor section but the majority of the fun will be inside. Ticket entry is required, but once you walk through the doors, everything is free (besides your food/beverages and All-Star gear).

There will be multiple stations set up with current and former MLB players, at these stations you can meet, take pictures and even get autographs. Francisco Lindor, Jim Thome, and Sandy Alomar Jr. are just a few stars you’ll have the pleasure to hang with.

You’ll have the opportunity to be a part of your own baseball card, jerseys will be available. Design your own cleats and compete to have them come to life by a professional. Rob the opposing team of a home run by jumping onto a velcro wall or dramatically slide into a GIANT inflatable home plate after you pull a Tyler Naquin with an in the park dinger.

Baseball history will be around every corner and one of those corners you’ll get to meet Jackie Robinson’s wife, Rachel, in the Jackie Robinson Museum. In addition to that, you can visit the Nergro Leagues area and then head to the Women in Baseball area.

Don’t forget to get a picture with the world’s largest baseball, signed by all participants in the All-Star Games over the years.

There is even a house made out of TOPPS playing cards, you’ll definitely want to take a stroll over there and get a picture. Here’s a sneak peek.

If you’re still looking for something to do, get in on the virtual reality home run derby action or show off your swing at the batting cages. However, no matter what age, size, gender, or color, there’s plenty of variety for everyone.
