White is one of the top 5 players in this draft and he is truly an elite talent. His tackling ability is a 4; he is very physical, he runs through his man and maintains great leverage. His ability to read and react is a 4; he is rarely caught out of position and does not take himself out of plays. His ability in pass coverage is a 3; he is disciplined enough to play in coverage, can cover running backs in tight ends out of the backfield, but he may be a mismatch for speedier guys (Sony Michel, Saquon Barkley, etc.). His athleticism is a 4; this is a close call because while he is an elite level athlete, he lacks elite speed.
When I broke down his film, I saw a lot of Myles Jack and Jonathan Vilma in his game.
Overall Prospect Grade: 4
