Philadelphia Eagles Make Roster Cuts as Regular Season Approaches

Following the team’s fourth and final preseason game, the Philadelphia Eagles make cuts to the roster as the 2019 regular season approaches.

The Philadelphia Eagles have played their final preseason game and have started making roster cuts, including a player who could return during the season.

DT Kevin Wilkins, OL Anthony Fabiano, Carlton Agudosi, and CB Jeremiah McKinnon were victim to the team’s preseason cuts Friday afternoon. Among them was CB Orlando Scandrick, who NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport noted could return in Week 2 after his contract is no longer guaranteed.

The deadline for roster cuts is Saturday, August 31 at 4 p.m. ET. The Eagles open the 2019 season Sunday, September 8 hosting the rival Washington Redskins.
