OSU Quarterback J.T. Barrett Arrested

OSU’s recently anointed starting QB, J.T. Barrett, was arrested for OVI (operating a motor vehicle while impaired) late last night after attempting to avoid a police OVI checkpoint just north of OSU’s campus.

Barrett, 20, faces a potential 2 week suspension for violation of the student athlete drug and alcohol program.

Ohio State, who is off this week, faces Minnesota Nov. 7th at 8:00pm ET. Barrett will not be eligible to play if disciplined for the misdemeanor.

Tough break for a college kid who had a couple beers, but when you’re the leader of the top program in the nation…just make Cardale Jones drive next time.
