Former Mets’ outfielder and three time all-star, Jay Bruce, has been traded to the Cleveland Indians. The 30 year old is having quite the season. He’s batting .258 with 29 homers and 75 knocked in.
The Indians are playing very good baseball as of late. This acquisition gives them a lot more firepower in their everyday lineup as Bruce is having one of his best seasons in the big leagues.

With outfielder Michael Brantley headed to the DL, Jay Bruce appears to be his replacement.
