The NFL has been considered the no fun league for the better part of a decade. And while they still have a long ways to go to repair their image, today’s announcement from Roger Goodell was a solid start.
Following conversations with dozens of players, we’re making changes to our celebrations policy: https://t.co/1NLdEJjsGD

Celebrations that will now be allowed:
- Using ball as a prop in TD celebration
- Celebrating on the ground
- Group demonstrations
Per the NFL, there will however still be plenty of flags:
“That is why offensive demonstrations, celebrations that are prolonged and delay the game, and those directed at an opponent, will still be penalized.”
We look forward to NFL players testing the boundaries of this new celebration policy in 2017.
Welcome to the sorta fun league!
