Time to touch upon the guys that will make or break our season and that’s the offensive line. It seems like every year the Dolphins’ o-line is a house of cards that’s being held together by gum and rubber bands. This team has tried to put together an offensive line that could be relied on for years, but each year, typically through injury, the line takes steps back and only a guy or two actually play well. Last year, the o-line was pretty awful and it was the one of the biggest reasons the offense never seemed to get going. Injuries will do that. This year, there are major question marks on who is going to be starting for the majority of the positions along the line. It’s going to be interesting to see who through training camp emerges as the starters come week one.

Laremy Tunsil- Let’s just get this out of the way now. The one guy we absolutely know is going to be starting is Tunsil at left tackle. It’s a big year for Tunsil. Though he’s been a high-level player, one of the team’s better players, he’s entering a contract year and I think he actually has something to prove to Brian Flores and Chris Grier. I’ll say that I feel that he will be resigned to a long term contract after this season, but I won’t say that it’s in stone. If his play dips, they easily can say thanks but no thanks. I don’t think that will happen because I expect Tunsil will take the next step and be even better than he has been. He has room to improve and he knows it. He’s considered one of the games’ better linemen but he’s also thought of as a guy that can be better. I expect him to ball out, get paid, be the cornerstone of the o-line for the next four seasons and hopefully more. Here’s a fun interview. I think it bodes well that Tunsil is a big alien guy.
