The New York Knicks and LeBron James continue to exchange blows this week, following an incredible comeback victory by James and Co. last night.
It started with a jab at the Knicks’ latest draft choice (passing on Dennis Smith Jr.), and ended with a corny “princess” reference. Or so we thought.
Following the win, LeBron James went out of his way to let Knicks players and fans alike know that he is the king of NYC…his favorite playground.
“You’re welcome…King of New York. #myfavoriteplayground”
He’s not wrong. LeBron has scored 30+ points in 10 of his visits to MSG, the only arena where he has scored over 50 twice (52, 50).
Tough blow for Knicks fans last night and into today. However, when the Knicks hit their collective prime as LBJ heads further into Father Time, we have a feeling they’ll pour it on heavier than ever.
Until then, enjoy that playground, LeBron.
