LaVar Ball is trying to put together a plan to force the Los Angeles Lakers into adding LiAngelo Ball and LaMelo Ball to their roster in a few years. The hope is for Lonzo Ball to become a superstar and demand his brothers join him if the Lakers want to retain his services.
LaVar said the following about Lonzo possibly leaving his dream franchise:
“If they don’t take Gelo this year, I bring back Gelo here [to Lithuania], to play with Melo for two years. Lonzo will be on his third year, and I [will] let every NBA team know that Lonzo is not going to re-sign with the Lakers, but will go to any team that will take all of my three boys. That’s my plan.”
Most three-year plans require a lot of thought, but LaVar’s requires Lonzo becoming the greatest NBA superstar of all time to fire such demands.
