Kyrie Irving showed no chill when comparing the excitement of playing in Boston after spending the first few years of his career in Cleveland. The point guard stated he is excited to be on the East Coast again and actually called it a “real sports city” as opposed to his prior NBA home.
“You get it all, especially in Boston. You would go to Cleveland, and it would be at nighttime, and things would be going on, but you just see a vast difference.
Boston, I’m driving in and (thinking), ‘I’m really playing in a real, live sports city?”
Cavaliers fans will be greeting him with some extremely loud boos next Tuesday on opening night.
