Kyrie Irving Reveals He Wants to Retire at Young Age

Most great NBA stars hope to retire in their late 30s or early 40s. We are seeing Dirk Nowitzki and Vince Carter playing after hitting 40. Kyrie Irving has a different approach and claims he wants to retire much sooner than most his peers.

The Boston Celtics point guard stated the following about his future:

“Once I’m done with this, hopefully in my early to mid-30s, I’m done with this.”

Irving is a strange cat and he may be one of the few athletes to actually mean it when threatening an early retirement.
