Is Kristaps Porzingis Unhappy with New York Knicks?

Could New York Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis be the next NBA elite finding a new home this summer?

While the NBA news cycle has been flooded with news of Anthony Davis’ wishes to be traded, there is a another NBA superstar that is expressing dissatisfaction with his current team.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Kristaps Porzingis met with the New York Knicks management today and made it know he is not happy with the current status and direction of the team.

Porzingis has been sidelined for the entire year recovering from an ACL tear that he suffered last February in a game versus the Bucks. It remains to be seen whether he will return at all this season. With New York boasting one of the worst records in the league, it would seem smart to just hold their franchise player out and bring him back healthy and fresh for next season.

But apparently, Porzingis isn’t all too thrilled in what he’s seeing out of the team this season and rightfully has some concerns for the future. While there may be some real thoughts that he could have more success elsewhere, I would believe that it has more to do with putting pressure on the front office to acquire key free agent talent this offseason.
