Seattle Seahawks defensive star Kam Chancellor is ending his contract holdout and will be returning to the team after an 0-2 start. Missing all of the preseason and the first two weeks of the season, Chancellor has stated he intends to revisit his contract situation after the season but he wants to be with his teammates again for the time being.
In a text message to Stephen A. Smith, Chancellor credits his relationship with RB Marshawn Lynch as part of the reason for his return to the team:
“Ima go help my teammates that are understanding of my position and the ones who aren’t. God forgives all, why can’t i? Time to help us get back to the big dance. I can address business after the season. Me and Marshawn started a mission 2 years ago. I can’t let my Dawg down….Real talk.”
