Jimmy Butler is expected to start the season playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves despite the issues going down. The Timberwolves refused to trade Butler, and he does not want to sit out any games.
Butler was asked about Minnesota fans booing him at home games and actually advised them to do it to make him smile.
Asked Jimmy Butler if he expects negative reaction on Friday (if he’s still here):
“Sure. Go ahead, boo me. It ain’t going to change the way I play. That’s going to make me smile more. So please, come on with it.”

Say what you want about the controversy. The first few home Timberwolves games will be must-see television.
