Jimmy Butler Blasts Head Coach: “You Gotta Do What You’re Supposed to Do”

The Bulls are going through some growing pains so far in 2015. Coming off a loss to the Knicks 107-91, and dropping to 15-10 on the year, the blame game has officially begun.

“I believe in the guys in this locker room, yeah. But I also believe that we probably have to be coached a lot harder at times. I’m sorry, I know that Fred’s a laid-back guy, and I really respect him for that. But when guys aren’t doing what they’re supposed to do, you gotta get on guys, myself included. You gotta do what you’re supposed to do when you’re out there playing basketball.

“It’s on everybody. But I just think when it’s coming from Hoiberg it’s a lot different. It’s different when a player is telling another player, and a coach is telling a player. I know it’s really not in him like that, but I think at times that’s what we need.”

Man up, Fred. You don’t have to be Thibs, but you can’t be their friend. Start yelling.
