James Harden Not Allowed to Wear Nike Anymore

After recently being spotted wearing Nike’s Jordan brand sneakers, the newly signed Adidas spokesperson James Harden will only be allowed to wear Adidas in public going forward. Adidas president Mike King confirmed it with the following:

“That’s part of the deal. “The difference between football and basketball is that a guy like Aaron Rodgers doesn’t have a walk-around shoe. Harden does, and he will be in our lifestyle stuff.”

Don’t feel too bad for the Houston Rockets star. Harden is getting $200 million over 13 years from Adidas. You can see him here very drunk explaining his excitement for the new branding:
