The trials and tribulations of J.R. Smith continues as the Cleveland Cavaliers guard has been accused of choking a 19-year-old fan in New York City on November 13th. The incident occurred when Smith’s Cavaliers were visiting the New York Knicks.
The teenager apparently asked Smith to take a picture with him outside Artichoke Basille’s Pizza near the corner of West 17th St. and 10th Avenue but Smith declined. Like a true New Yorker, the fan replied “That’s why you got kicked out of New York,” according to sources.
Smith then allegedly approached the teen and started to choke him before being pulled off by another person. The legal team of Smith has denied he did anything wrong and do not expect him to get arrested with the story breaking.
If this is true, the 2013 Playoffs will no longer be the biggest choke committed by Smith in New York.
