Per team release, guard Nik Stauskas is heading to Europe and will play in Spain for Kirolbet Baskonia. Kirolbet Baskonia plays in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague and they were the runners-up in both the Spanish League and the Spanish Supercup in the 2017-2018 season.
Stauskas, 25, was the 8th-overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. Stauskas also has played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. In the 2018-2019 season, Stauskas was traded to the Cavaliers, then to Houston Rockets and then to the Indiana Pacers. With the Pacers, he was waived, and he then signed with the Cavaliers as a free agent. Stauskas never appeared in a game for the Rockets or the Pacers.
