CLEVELAND

I Have Bieber Fever, and I’m a Belieber

Shane Bieber just pitched his second start of the 2019 season, got his first win, and my oh my did this kid produce. He pitched 7 full-innings, gave up only 3 hits, 1 walk, and did not allow a single run. This brings his ERA down to 1.80 and inevitably lowers the Tribe’s ERA to 4th in the MLB.

Shane Bieber just pitched his second start of the 2019 season, got his first win, and my oh my, did this kid produce. He pitched seven full innings, giving up only three hits, and left the game with a goose egg on the board. His latest outing brings his ERA down to 1.80 and lowers the Tribe’s team ERA to 4th in the MLB.

This is exactly what the Tribe needed right now out of the 23-year-ol… wait a second… did I just type that right? Yes, I did. He’s 23 years old and is quickly making his name known in the MLB. His production is exactly what the Indians need right now with Clevinger being placed on the DL with a Teres Major strain.

It also helps when you have guys like Adam Cimber and Brad Hand in your bullpen to cover and close out a much-deserved win.

Bieber will likely make his next start on the road in Seattle on April 16th, in what could be his biggest challenge thus far. Seattle is an absolute WAGON right now and just made history by having a home run in each of their first 15 games. I’m not too worried about the Biebs. All you need to do to strike out Edwin Encarnacion is throw the ball just slightly outside and he’ll swing and miss every single time. So, Bieber, I hope you’re taking notes because that first one’s for free.

The Tribe now move on to Kansas City in what will be an absolute blood bath. Here’s to hoping the Tribe beats the brakes off of the Royals and cements our spot atop the AL Central. Roll Tribe!

Jiggly, you’re spot on with Bieber analysis. I was also pleasantly surprised with Jefry Rodriquez’ debut start on Saturday versus Kansas City. Although the tribe lost, there’s no doubting Rodriguez’ potential due to his age, physical frame, and electric stuff.

1.80 ERA now?? I didn’t even know that. Thanks for the article, jig. Hoping we can close out with series with a W tonight. Also, love the Friends and Home Alone visuals. I like how you incorporate those, but not too much. Perfect mix of sports and humor.

Short sweet and to the point, love the optimism and succinct nature of your stuff. Hated to see Carrasco struggle yesterday. Hopefully the tribe can turn it around to win the series against the Royals

Been thinking Bieber as our ace going forward in the future. Kid can flat out pitch! Has great people to learn from in Kkkkkluber, Cookie, and Bauer! Pitching is a thing of beauty with this ball club!
