During the New York Giants controversial drive last night that saw them score a field goal to take a 6 point lead they ultimately choked away, RB Rashad Jennings was reportedly told to not score a touchdown. New York wanted the Cowboys to use all of their timeouts in hopes of running out the clock rather than opting for the 10 point lead.
The problem is they passed on 3rd down to erase those plans and stopped the clock for Dallas, giving them another chance and the win. Jennings said the following today:
A frustrated Rashad Jennings told me, “As a running back, it’s always hard when they tell you not to score.”

Just a complete disaster on every level in the worst Week 1 loss possible.
