Looks like Giancarlo Stanton is doing just fine, after his season was cut short last year due to a broken hand. The Marlins slugger returned with a bang in his team’s season opener against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.
Justin Verlander entered the bottom of the sixth inning with a no-hitter intact, but Stanton destroyed a pitch into left field putting two on the board bringing the score to 5-3.
Hopefully he can remain healthy and keep serving up these monster blasts.
Tigers currently lead 8-7 in the bottom of the 11th.
