Tim Donaghy was a guest on KNBR radio in California today and attempted to give Warriors fans something to blame their loss on tonight, should they lose. Donaghy is and isn’t a credible source for these claims. The good? He was an NBA ref who officiated NBA games for 13 years, including 20 playoff games. The bad? He was sentenced to 15 months in prison for betting on games. He also hasn’t officiated an NBA game in over 10 years.

From an NBA business perspective, more games equals more money. The deeper the series goes, the more attention it will receive from fans and media.
Game 4 saw a lot of questionable calls on both sides of the court that led to rising tension between players on both teams. Donaghy points out that Draymond Green will be at the center of attention tonight as he tries to keep his emotions in check.
“I think they are going to concentrate on Draymond to make sure he isn’t able to be in any physicality, or roughhouse in any way, shape, or form. You are probably going to see him in foul trouble again.”
Cleveland looks to extend their season tonight, while Golden State looks to close out the series in 5. If Tim Donaghy was a betting man, his money would be on Cleveland tonight.
