QB Studs

Carson Palmer (Arizona Cardinals) $7100

The most reliable fantasy quarterback is Carson Palmer because he delivers regardless of the matchup or his wide receivers health issues. Palmer has yet to deliver less than 18 points on DraftKings and a low floor is very pivotal when spending this much at the quarterback position. The matchup benefits him against a weak San Francisco 49ers pass defense. The sole concern will be the potential of a blowout limiting his pass attempts but the price is too good for a can’t miss talent.

Marcus Mariota (Tennessee Titans) $5500

Marcus Mariota tends to play well against poor defenses and struggle against good defenses. Luckily for Mariota, he faces the atrocious Oakland Raiders defense. Opposing quarterbacks have had big games against Oakland over the last few weeks and Mariota should be able to exploit their weaknesses. For a cheap price, Mariota is a great calculated gamble.

Josh McCown (Cleveland Browns) $5000

The personal issues of Johnny Manziel has given Josh McCown another crack at being the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. McCown has a great matchup against the weak Baltimore Ravens pass defense on Monday Night Football. McCown has shown he can put up impressive fantasy numbers in the right spot and this scenario should benefit him. He’s the cheapest starting quarterback, he’s averaged a solid 19 fantasy points per game and has a great matchup.
