Fans will have the chance to see a Wade and James duo one last time. Dwyane Wade’s son, Zaire Wade and Lebron James’ son, LeBron James Jr. (Bronny), will be playing together at Sierra Canyon High School this fall. On Wednesday, May 29, reporter Tarek Fattal of L.A. Daily News HS Sports, sent out a tweet confirming that we will see the boys in uniform next season. Both young men have fathers who made names for themselves and influenced the game of basketball in a remarkable way.
We can expect to see great performances from both players because of their bloodline.
First, Wade handles the ball with confidence, can be a playmaker, and take over the game when it’s needed. Wade has also developed an excellent mid-range jump shot and smooth style of play. The way he plays resembles his dad. In the highlight video, if you skip to five minutes and 37 seconds, he uses a post move that we would usually see from Dwyane Wade. This proves that the kid has been studying his dad a lot. Bronny has also been picking up on some of his dad moves. At five minutes and six seconds, James attempts the same fadeaway shot his dad LeBron James does in a lot of his games.
Bronny makes his presence known and you can tell he is a leader on the floor.
These two are not the only NBA player kids that have attended Sierra Canyon High School. According to Erik Gundersen ofLeBronwire.usatoday.com, Sierra Canyon boys team have won the last two California state titles. When the team won these titles, sons of players Scotty Pippen and Kenyon Martin was a part of the team. These two boys have a bright future ahead of them and I’m excited to see what they will bring to the court.
