The bad luck for Derrick Rose’s health continues as the Chicago Bulls point guard suffered a left orbital fracture in practice today. Rose will need to have surgery and a timetable for his return will be determined after the procedure.

Chicago will need a big year from Rose if they intend to challenge the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. Rose’s health is always a concern and this isn’t the start he was looking for in training camp.
The Bulls will also be without starter Mike Dunleavy Jr. for the first month or two of the season following back surgery.
