Drew Brees

New Orleans Saints ($7800)

While still expensive, Drew Brees is the best value of the elite QBs. With a delicious matchup against the weak Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, Brees should have one of his vintage fantasy explosions. Tampa Bay was destroyed by rookie Marcus Mariota so imagine what Brees will be able to do to them. Brees has also shown chemistry with a couple of his new receivers and this should be a big game for him.

Carson Palmer

Arizona Cardinals ($6700)

As a very nice under the radar play, Carson Palmer isn’t a sexy pick anyone is going to have fun boasting up about when talking their fantasy football team. Palmer opened the season with a fantastic performance passing for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. With another weak matchup against the abysmal Chicago Bears, Palmer should have another week as a top 5 fantasy quarterback.

Nick Foles

St. Louis Rams ($5500)

If you want to go cheap at QB and load up elsewhere, Nick Foles is going for very cheap and is facing the Washington defense that was ranked dead last against the QB last season. The Rams running game is also questionable which leads to Foles getting enough pass attempts vs. a poor defense and makes for a solid risky play.
