College Baseball Play of the Year

It’s March, so there’s a limited set of plays to work with so far, but Tulane’s Jake Willsey is the man thus far.

As impressive as Willsey’s leap over the tag was, Xavier’s catcher Nate Soria’s lack of awareness on the play was abysmal.  When there’s no call from the umpire, don’t just stand there defeated, put the fucking tag on the guy!

Willsey’s dive back to the plate would tie the game at two, allowing Tulane to win it 3 – 2 in the tenth over Xavier.
