Former UFC light heavyweight champions Chuck Liddell (21-8) and Tito Ortiz (19-12-1) are set to rematch for a third time.
The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. plays host to the Trilogy fight on Nov. 24.
Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions is the mastermind beyond Liddell returning to face Ortiz.
Liddell hasn’t won a fight in 10 years and has lost five out of his past six fights from 2007-2010. Four of those losses came via knockout.
“The Iceman” now attempts a return at the ripe age of 48 after years of inactivity following the aforementioned knockout losses.
In his prime, Liddell defeated Ortiz on two occasions in light heavyweight title fights.
Ortiz last fought Liddell at UFC 66 in 2006, where he lost via TKO.
Ortiz has spent the past several years training under the tutelage of famed trainer Jason Parillo.
Meanwhile, he has fought nine times since Liddell last saw action winning three of his past four fights.
”The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” most recently defeated Chael Sonnen by first round submission at Bellator 170 in Jan. 2017.
