The Indiana Pacers realize they don’t have much of a trade market for Paul George and the Cleveland Cavaliers may be taking advantage of this. Cleveland needs to make a move or two to truly have a shot at contending with the Golden State Warriors. Sam Amico reported that they may be looking at acquiring George as their answer.
#Cavs–#Pacers talk about Paul George is legit. This is more than a passing type of discussion, league sources tell AmicoHoops.

#Cavs and #Pacers talks have a feel of multiple players being involved. Indy wants a deal done before Thursday's draft. #NBA

There’s no word on the rumored players involved on Cleveland’s side. You’d have to assume Kevin Love would be heading out in return. The Cavaliers would lose out on Love’s rebounding but improve greatly defensively.
Cleveland’s biggest issue here is trading a superstar that fits into the system well for a player that will likely leave for the Lakers in a season. Even with George, the Cavaliers would be clear underdogs against the Warriors.
