Just a few months removed from an injury reminiscent of “the Kevin Ware” injury, Caris LeVert, the Brooklyn Nets standout, will return to live action Friday night against the Chicago Bulls.

LeVert was the Nets’ best player before his injury, leading Brooklyn in scoring with 18.7 points per game, shooting 47 percent from the field and coming in second only behind Joe Harris on the team in 3-point percentage at 33 percent.
His quick return has people in shock that something that looked so bad can be healed so hastily. His return couldn’t have come at a better time with Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie due to miss a month of the season with after undergoing thumb surgery.
LeVert will surely help with the surging Nets pursuit of the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. He adds an attitude and chip to the shoulder of an already young and confident group of Nets. He is the epitome of “#BrooklynGrit” and it’s going to be exciting to see him back on the court with the All-Star D’Angelo Russell and cause havoc for other teams in the east.
