The biggest name of the 2017-18 offseason is none other than this year’s NL MVP, Giancarlo Stanton. According to Jon Morosi, sources have said that the Giants offered Joe Panik, Tyler Bleede and Chris Shaw for the MVP.
Giancarlo Stanton trade development: Source says #Marlins likely would accept offer of Panik, Beede and Shaw for Stanton alone — if #SFGiants committed to paying at least $250 million of the $295 million left on Stanton’s contract. @MLB @MLBNetwork

Derek Jeter has just taken over as the head of this franchise and his first move could turn out to be one of the best, or worst decisions in history. However, starter Tyler Bleede and first baseman Chris Shaw are two of the Giants’ top ten prospects with very bright futures. Bleede is the Giants’ top overall prospect and Shaw is 3.
Due to his contract, Stanton would still have to accept this trade to the west coast, but sources are saying he will.
