Cameron Jordan is cashing in big today, according to Adam Schefter. He is inking an extension that is three years, $52.5 million, with a potential max of $55.5 million. The sweetener is that $42 million is guaranteed.

Jordan turns 30 years old next month and has been the model of consistency throughout his nine-year career. He has never missed a game in those nine years. Jordan has recorded double-digit sacks in four of the last six seasons, including back to back in 2017 and 2018.

A big move for a defense that, according to Football Outsiders, ranked 2nd against the run last season and 4th in sacks. This move solidifies the defensive end position for the Saints for the next five years. A great foundation to build a defense around.
