The Philadelphia Flyers were willing to offer superstar Kevin Hayes a massive deal with his contract having expired following the 2018-19 season. First reported by Bob McKenzie, Hayes accepted a seven-year deal for $50 million.

In addition, the Winnipeg Jets will be receiving the Flyers’ fifth-round pick for the upcoming NHL Draft.

Hayes recorded 55 points throughout the season, scoring 19 goals and assisting on 36 others.
