Brandon Marshall has had his ups and downs in the NFL. After spending multiple seasons with a handful of different teams, the current Jets WR has matured, and has some advice for the troubled young signal caller out of Cleveland.
“Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. This is a serious topic. Well, first, you’ve got to forget about football, sir. You need to go get your life together. And to be quite frank, I don’t think you get it. You don’t understand. You’re ruining a very, very special opportunity. It’s an honor to be in the NFL. There is a thing out there called divine mentorship, where you can learn from others’ mistakes. He has the opportunity to really sit back and reflect on his situation, look at others, and learn from it and be better.”
While we all can laugh at Manziel’s latest alleged issues, including a disguised visit to Vegas when he was supposed to show up to work, the kid probably needs some more help.
After one stint in rehab, it may be time to head back in. Hopefully he listens to the veteran WR before something bad happens.
