NFL offseason tends to be a boring period for most gamblers. Sure, there’s still baseball and some hockey and basketball playoff action, but no gambling lives up to football. Despite no game action for a few more months, there are still some great futures to break that gambling craving.

Chicago Bears +170 to win the NFC North
The Chicago Bears ran away with the NFC North last season, going 12-4 and winning the division by 3.5 games over the 8-7-1 Minnesota Vikings. The team had the third best overall defense in the NFL last season, allowing just 17.7 points per game. They’ve retained nearly the entire unit while also adding some depth in the secondary with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Buster Skrine.
The Green Bay Packers aren’t far behind at +190 with an improved defense and a healthy Aaron Rodgers. However, as long as Mitchell Trubisky continues playing at least average football, that nasty defense should lead Chicago to another division title.
Los Angeles Chargers +200 to win the AFC West
Despite having to settle for a wild-card spot, the Los Angeles Chargers were tied for the AFC’s best record at 12-4 alongside the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Chiefs have reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes and a strong defense, the Chargers have enough weapons on both sides of the ball to keep the pace all season.
On offense, veteran gunslinger Philip Rivers will get a healthy Hunter Henry in his arsenal that already included Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen, and Travis Benjamin. The team also added longtime Carolina Panther Thomas Davis and rookie Jerry Tillery to add some depth to the defensive unit. With Kansas City facing some uncertainty on offense with the Tyreek Hill situation, the Chargers are an incredible value here.
Pittsburgh Steelers +180 to win the AFC North
The Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves in a weird territory entering the 2019 campaign: looking up at the AFC North favorite Cleveland Browns. In fact, the Browns’ odds at +135 provide some decent value as well. However, even with the loss of Antonio Brown, the Steelers have an intriguing offense. Led by Ben Roethlisberger, James Conner, and JuJu Smith-Schuster, the team shouldn’t have an issue putting up points, especially with one of the NFL’s premier offensive lines.
Meanwhile, the defense certainly has some questions marks, but rookie Devin Bush Jr. and Mark Barron give the unit a strong and deep group of linebackers. Betting on the Steelers to win the division is essentially betting on Cleveland not living up to the preseason hype, which isn’t a terrible bet.
Houston Texans +275 to win the AFC South
The biggest long shot on this list, the Houston Texans are actually the reigning AFC South champions, going 11-5 last season and getting bounced by the 2019 division favorite Indianapolis Colts. With a healthy Andrew Luck paired with a young, talented defense, there’s a reason why the Colts are so heavily favored.
However, Houston should give them a run for their money with plenty of star potential on both sides of the ball, including Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt. Watson’s first full campaign as a starting quarterback was a strong one, racking up over 4,100 yards through the air with a 26:9 TD:INT. He’ll have Will Fuller back in his arsenal, but the offensive line remains an issue. While Houston has a tough road, +275 odds are too good to pass up.
