Antonio Brown Rips Peter King For Changing His All-Pro Vote

Antonio Brown was not too please about finding out that Peter King changed his All-Pro vote following last week’s controversy. King is one of the more successful NFL writers and a voter for the All-Pro team.

Brown was benched by the Pittsburgh Steelers following an in-house issue with the team. King reveals this caused him to remove Brown from his All-Pro ballot.

“As far as his situation and what happened. I think it’s absolutely outrageous.Outrageous to the point that when I submitted my AP All-Pro team on Monday, before any of this happened, Antonio Brown was one of the three receivers I listed on the team along with [DeAndre] Hopkins and Tyreek Hill. And when this happened, I sent an e-mail to the AP and said, ‘I may change my ballot.’

I thought about it, and I said, ‘I can’t, in good conscience, put a guy who took the equivalent of six percent of the season and flushed it down the toilet when the Steelers were in a playoff implication game.’ So I ended up voting for Michael Thomas and took Brown off [my] All-Pro ballot.”

Brown posted the following tweets calling out King for this.

Between King, Big Ben and Mike Tomlin, Brown is racking up the enemies this offseason!

AP voting should be based on the performance of the player (Even if Antonio Brown is a huge jerk). That’s a no brainer. TO makes into the Hall of Fame, and he had his personal issues as well. This shouldn’t be an outlet for opinions on character and I’m sure no one else is taking the same route King is.
