2019 is already off to a horrible start for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last year ended with disappointment as the Steelers missed the postseason. However, the final week of the season would add even more negativity to the mix.
Superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown was not used by the Steelers on Sunday and left the game at halftime. USA Today reported the following:
“The disagreement occurred Wednesday morning during a routine walk-through practice that precedes their regular afternoon practice on the South Side. Brown was disgusted and threw a football in Roethlisberger’s direction, several sources said.
After that, Brown did not practice the rest of the week. According to a source, it was Brown’s decision not to practice with his teammates.“
Brown has now reportedly requested a trade due to issues with Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin.
Antonio Brown has requested a trade. Im told it was not a demand but he has asked to be dealt. Very unlikely Rooney would capitulate. Brown has issues with Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger. Feels like the coach is too aligned with the QB.

It would be brutal for Pittsburgh to lose both Brown and Le’Veon Bell in such a short time. Are the days of the Steelers being a top tier NFL franchise coming to an end?
