It hasn’t been the best year for Adrian Peterson, and things only got worse this week when Roger Goodell decided to make an example of him to make up for f’ing up his Ray Rice decision. In an exclusive interview with USA Today, Peterson shared his regret for hitting his son, his suspensionfor the rest of the season, as well as calling out Rice:
“”I take full responsibility, because I spanked my child, and no matter what my intentions were, I end up leaving those marks on his legs. That’s the bottom line. That’s not what I tried to do, but that’s what ended up happening. Don’t put me in the same [category as Rice].”
Peterson also said he won’t be using a switch again. Yeah, that’s definitely a good idea, Adrian.
Will Peterson play in the NFL again? Of course he will. If Michael Vick can find a new start after operating a dog abuse factory, Peterson will find forgiveness with another team.
