A crazy off-season of star players moving from city to city, and some heading home, caused the NBA to push back their schedule release to today. We’re just a month and a half away from opening tip-off and the revamped Bulls are one of the favorites to take the East… pending Mr. Rose stays healthy. Here is a look at the five games we’re most excited for:
Bulls vs. Cavs — Oct. 31
Halloween marks the first shot the Bulls will have against the LeBron led Cavs . What will be an exciting battle for years to come should have a huge national audience… lets hope the Bulls fare better than last year’s opener against LeBron where Derrick Rose and the Bulls were rocked in his return from ACL surgery in Miami.
Bulls at Clippers — Nov. 17
This will be the Bulls first test against a strong Western conference opponent and is their first game on their annual two-week circus road trip. The East is improved from last year, but still doesn’t have the depth of the West so this will be a great barometer of how good the Bulls actually are. Plus, always fun to watch Rose battle Chris Paul.
Bulls vs. Lakers — Dec. 25
No better way spend Christmas with the family than watching Kobe play… lets just hope Rose and Kobe are healthy and on the court.
Bulls vs. Spurs — Jan. 22
Depth against depth. If the Bulls are going to be a championship team, the Spurs are the team they’ll have to replicate. These are two of the deepest / best coached teams in the league.
Bulls vs. Thunder — March 15
Playoffs will be right around the corner for this match up as both teams will be hitting full stride. We’ll have a great opportunity to see how the Bulls stack up against one of the West’s best teams and will be able to gauge if we have any shot at all at celebrating in Grant Park in June.
